In the search for renewable energy resources that are non-polluting and have no undesirable effects on people and the environment, we will conduct this work. It provides a general overview of studying a wind energy system based on a doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) operating as a generator (DFIG-G) for producing electrical energy. First, we presented the current state of wind energy and the conversion systems used. Then, we described the mathematical models for each part of the wind turbine, including the wind turbine itself and its MPPT control. After that, we applied direct power control (DPC) using PI controllers and fuzzy logic. The direct power control applied to the DFIG-G for regulating active and reactive power, as well as the simulation, was done in the Matlab/Simulink environment. The simulation results obtained from the DPC of the DFIG driven by a wind turbine are significantly valid.en_US
