dc.description.abstractAbstract This researchaimed to investigatewhetherconsecutiveinterpretationqualityisaffected by note-takingskillamong EFL learners. To reachthisaim, researchersopted for two questionnaires thatweredesigned and submitted to Master one Language Sciences students, and two translation teachersat the English Department of Larbi-TebessiUniversity-Tebessa. Both participant’ categorieswereasked to givetheir impressions and attitudes towardsconsecutiveinterpretation and note-taking. The collected data wasanalyzedquantitatively. The findingspointed out that participants hold a positive perception towards note-takingeffectiveness on consecutiveinterpretationefficiency in EFL learning, sothat the first formulatedhypothesisisproved. Furthermore, itseemedclearthatconsecutiveinterpreting has a significantrole in helpingstudents to improvetheir English and developlistening and speakingskillsbesidesvocabulary and accuracy. Based on the findings, somerecommendations and implications wereproposed to fosterinterpretation in EFL learningen_US
