The work presented in this thesis concerns the optimal control of the asynchronous machine driven by the indirect vector control with oriented rotor flow. The optimal control type used is the quadratic linear control (LQR). This regulator is used for the control of the speed of rotation of the machine. A comparison between the classic PI regulator and the PI-LQR regulator is carried out in order to be able to judge their performance. The regulator (PI- LQR) has shown a high efficiency for the control of the asynchronous machine but it requires a good choice of weighting matrices.en_US
