Abstract: Numerical modeling plays a crucial role in the analysis and design of bridge piers founded on pile groups in cohesive soil. The FB-MultiPier program is used to analyze pier and pile systems, and it requires a comprehensive dataset as input including various information related to soil properties, pier specifications, pile details, and pier and pile cap information. This analysis program couples structural with static soil models for axial, lateral and torsional soil behavior to provide a robust system of analysis for bridge pier structures and foundation systems. FBMultiPier calculates the response of the bridge pier and pile group, providing output such as bending moments, shear forces, axial forces, and displacements and generating graphs as a result of the simulations, allowing us to analyze and interpret the findings. Based on the analysis results, the design is performed by adjusting parameters such as pile spacing, diameter, length, or shape of the pier. Iteratively analyzing and refining the design until the desired performance and safety criteria are achieved using the D/C Ratio. The findings have practical implications for optimizing bridge design and developing efficient foundation systems, ultimately leading to safer and more reliable bridge structures .
