The objective of this work is to highlight the toxic effects of two different doses of titaniumdioxide (TiO2) for 90 days atthere nallevel. The experiment was conducted on as ample of 21 wistar rats (males) divided into three groups, each containing 7 rats. The first group was acontrol that received distilled water and food only for the duration of the experiment, the other groups were treated with titaniumdioxide at different doses. Lipid, proteinandgly ceridele velswere evaluated, as well as oxidative stress characteristics (), biochemical indicators () andphysiological variables (). The results showed that titanium dioxide due to harmful effects onthe body by increasing the activity of biological indicators of oxidation, a significant increase in the activity of an tioxidants GST,MDA,with adecrease of GPx, CAT and GSH in renal cells compared to biological characteristic sandseverity of toxicity in crease with increased dose, andthis is shown by results between the two doses () All these indicators are signs of potentia ln ephrotoxicity. |
