dc.description.abstract Study summary: The current study aims at knowing the needs of the counselor, the school and the professional advice of the newly recruited as well as his tasks In order to achieve the study's objectives, a central issue and a sub-question were raised. The session was based on the descriptive curriculum. In our research, we chose this deliberate sample. It consisted of 07 consultants from secondary and high schools of municipality of Al Ogla . The field study was made in Al Djorf secondary school where the sample members were interviewed after receipt in the Adviser's office. The study tools were interview and observation ,and In this study , we used content analysis to analyze the data . The study reached the following findings: Guidance did not take its due right in the field A newly hired guidance counselor cannot guide students properly For the guidance counselor to exercise his duties, he must meet his needs in order to get rid of his obstacles Guidance should not be restricted to the student only, but to the social environment as a whole en_US
