dc.description.abstract Due to the growing population, energy from fossil fuel resources (oil, coal, natural gas) has become insufficient to meet the world's growing energy needs. Therefore, it was necessary to find a viable solution, such as producing electricity from renewable energy sources, which represents a solution for the future. Photovoltaic cells are one of the best ways to produce electricity because they represent an economical and ideal solution to the problems faced by isolated areas in electrical supply, as solar electricity is considered It is one of the most important renewable energies in the modern era from an energy, economic and environmental perspective, as it changes with new technological developments and the use of innovative technologies in electrical energy conversion systems. One of the characteristics of solar panels is that they only give out their maximum capacity at a specific point and it changes with changes in the climatic conditions surrounding them, such as changes in the intensity of light and heat. Therefore, a tracking system must be used for optimal exploitation of the energyproduced. The aim of this work is to study and simulate a solar electric generator consisting of a solar panel and a voltage riser using the maximum power point tracking technology, which allows optimal exploitation of the generated solar energy by using the ―distortion and monitoring‖ algorithm to extract maximum power in the event of a change in load and weather conditions and simulation of a photovoltaic system connected to single-grid. en_US
