Abstract

Sammary Our national history witnessed the emergence of several names that left their mark in all areas of this . Among them, we mention SHEIKH AL-IBRAHIMI who took over the presidency of the Algerian Muslim Scholars association after the death of SHEIKH IBN BADIS in the year 1940 . He continued on the same reform approach adopted by the association of Muslim Scholars since its founding in 1931 until the date of the May 08, 1945 the day of the massacres committed by the French colonialists against our eternal people. That made an a deep impact on the course of this presidency and made him change in his national and political orientations, through a change in his tone towards French colonialism, and he became more intense to demand the independence of Algeria
