Abstract:
The concept of dehumanization is a basis of inquiry for the literary academia. Outstandingly,
technological dehumanization suggests a non emotional approach to life that lacks the essence of human
being nature. The concern of dehumanization through technological and scientific advancement is the
salient theme in many dystopian works. Assuredly, writers adhere to address the problem in order to warn
people of the dangers that technology may pose in the real world. In this respect, Aldous Huxley’s Brave
New World is an evident illustration to the issue of mechanizing human beings. Notably, his novel is
regarded as an adumbration of contemporary trends of technocratic dehumanization. The present study
seeks to delve into the question of how new technologies can affect individuals’ freedom and creativity.
The theme of our dissertation entails us to adopt a variety of theoretical areas that elucidate its historical
and ideological understanding. By thoroughly scrutinizing the utopian and dystopian exposures in the
novel, the analysis succinctly examines the mechanizing aspects within a dystopian context. The ultimate
aim is to thoughtfully anatomize the illusive vision of a scientific utopian world.
