dc.description.abstract This study aims to examine the attitude of oral expression teachers towards the use of teaching strategies based on the theory of multiple intelligences in the English department at the University of Larbi Tébessi-Tébessa. Furthermore, it investigates students' multiple intelligence profiles and whether there is a difference between speaking teachers in terms of the strategies they use in class. To this end, four hypotheses were formulated. The first indicates that oral expression teachers in the English department at the University of Larbi Tébessi-Tébessa have a negative attitude towards the use of strategies based on the theory of multiple intelligences. The second affirms that almost all types of intelligences are present in the oral expression class among third-year students of the same department. The third suggests that oral expression teachers in the same department implement limited teaching strategies that do not correspond to all the types of intelligences of their students. The fourth assumes that these teachers do not take into consideration the intelligence types of their students when teaching the speaking module. Thus, a sample of 27 third-year LMD students and 07 oral expression teachers from the English department of Larbi Tébessi-Tébessa University participated in this study. The students answered the McKenzie survey to identify their intelligence profiles while the teachers answered a semi-structured questionnaire. The results obtained show a general positive attitude of teachers towards the use of teaching strategies based on the theory of multiple intelligence in the classroom. Furthermore, it reveals that oral expression teachers in the English department at the University of Larbi Tébessi-Tébessa use different teaching strategies and that third-year students have different types of intelligences. In this sense, it is very important to mention that the proposals of multiple intelligences require the attention teachers so that students' speaking and listening skills develop and increase. en_US
