Résumé:
In order to understand the morphological and biochemical behavior of a cereal variety when treated with purified water collected from purification station which is already used as irrigation water for the agricultural plots neighboring the purification station.
Our work is focused on the study of morphological behavior such as germination, weight and length as well as the biomass of seedlings of the variety, testing the protective oxidative system in the cereal variety (Durum wheat: Triticum durumDesf. Variety: Vitron) by assaying certain biochemical biomarkers Proteins and proline followed by testing enzymatic activities which are Polyphénoloxidase (PPO), Ascorbate peroxidase (APX), Catalase (CAT).
Finally the results obtained, it can be concluded that the duration of exposure to the treatments reduces the length and weight as well as the fresh biomass of the seedlings. The treatment of plants with purified water has an earlier negative effect on the weight of the aerial part of seedlings and in return it improves the response of plants to stress by activating the protective oxidative system.
