Presentation of the physical, thermal and electrical characteristics to better understand the operation of this type of PEMC battery where we have noticed that this technology is very simple,
but it is, at the same time, delicate to use because of several contributing phenomena internal and
external to the proper functioning.
• Temperature, pressure, choice of material for porous electrodes and type of electrolyte
(membrane) present a major challenge for a selective battery. It is not possible to find the best
compromise between its various parameters to increase the efficiency of the battery.
• The static and dynamic modeling of the stack and its simulation in Matlab by the
development of programs and in Simulink gave very motivating results compared to others already carried out and published by other authors.
• The control of the stack by traditional techniques (PID corrector) and new (fuzzy logic) on
the PEMFC stack was the main contribution of our efforts in this thesis to thus discover the performances of the stack as being a source of promising energy.
• A comparative study between the two control techniques used is presented at the end of this work where the influence of each control technique on the performance of the battery was
obvious. |
