Fourth-instar larvae were exposed to sublethal concentrations (LC25 and LC50) of this plant over different time periods (24 hours, 48 hours, and 72 hours). The study included morphometric assessments (neck diameter and weight) and biochemical assessments (total protein, carbohydrates, and lipids). The results showed that Ziziphus lotus extracts induce statistically significant changes in both the morphology and biochemistry of the larvae. Therefore, these data suggest that the hydroethanolic extracts of Ziziphus lotus may represent an environmentally safe alternative for controlling mosquito populations.enZiziphus lotuslarvicidal activityCuliseta longiareolatamorphological changesbiochemical changesLavidical activity of Ziziphus lotus hydro-ethanolic extract against mosquito species : morphometric and biochemical alterationThesis
