Abstract : This study aims to identify the attitudes of female university students in the Department of Information and Communication Sciences at Shahid Draid Abdelmadjid University of Tébessa toward female religious content creators on Instagram, by examining the habits, patterns, and motivations behind the students’ engagement with religious content creators, as well as the effects resulting from such engagement. To achieve these objectives, the study adopted the survey method, as it is the most appropriate for the nature and aims of the research. A structured questionnaire divided into four axes was distributed as a data collection instrument on an available sample of female students who have Instagram accounts and follow religious content creators. The total number reached 121 students. The study reached a set of findings, the most significant of which are as follows : Regarding habits and patterns of engagement, female students have been using the Instagram platform since the pre-university stage, and following religious content is embedded within this digital habit in a flexible and irregular manner consistent with the nature of the platform. Furthermore, the motivations for engagement are multi-dimensional, combining the search for basic religious knowledge, the need for psychological support, and a sense of belonging to a Muslim community — whether real or virtual. As for the effects of this engagement, they are observed at the cognitive, behavioral, and affective levels, with a notable presence of critical awareness demonstrated by the students, making them more selective and discerning in their reception of such content
