Abstract In this thesis, we studied and analyzed the role of play as a guidance technique in supporting children with motor disabilities at the Psychopedagogical Center in El Ouenza. We aimed to highlight the importance of this technique in addressing the emotional, social, and behavioral aspects of this special group. The study was based on a central problem: how to employ play as a therapeutic tool that contributes to improving the quality of life for children with motor disabilities. It adopted a descriptive approach, using field tools such as direct observation and questionnaires directed at the educators of the center. The results showed that play clearly contributes to reducing stress and withdrawal, stimulating social interaction, and developing self-confidence and independence in children. It also helps improve fine motor skills and visual-motor coordination. The study concluded that guided play—especially constructive, sensory, and group-based games—constitutes an effective element in educational and therapeutic programs for this group. The thesis recommends strengthening the use of play within specialized centers, training educators on how to implement it in a systematic and scientific manner, and preparing appropriate spaces and tools to ensure its effectiveness and sustainability.
