كما أكد النموذج كفاءة إحصائية واستقرارا قياسيا مع سرعة تكيف نحو التوازن طويل الأجل= This study aimed to analyze and measure the impact of internal factors and external shocks on inflation rates in Algeria over the period (1990–2023). To achieve this objective, a descriptive-analytical approach was employed for the theoretical framework, while a quantitative econometric approach was applied using the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model to examine the nature of relationships in both the short and long run. The empirical results revealed the existence of a long-run equilibrium relationship between inflation and its determinants, as confirmed by the Bounds Test. The findings also indicated a positive and statistically significant relationship between inflation and each of money supply, public expenditure, imported inflation, and oil prices, while a negative and significant relationship was found with economic growth, unemployment, and the exchange rate. These results highlight the role of monetary and fiscal expansion, as well as external shocks, in fueling inflationary pressures, whereas real factors and macroeconomic stability contribute to mitigating them. Moreover, the model demonstrated strong explanatory power, econometric stability, and a relatively fast speed of adjustment toward long-run equilibrium. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن قطاع الطاقات المتجددة في الجزائر، رغم التطور الذي شهده خلال السنوات الأخيرة، ما يزال بحاجة إلى مزيد من الاستثمارات والسياسات الداعمة من أجل تعزيز مساهمته في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة= This study aimed to analyze and measure the impact of renewable energy on sustainable development in Algeria during the period (1990–2023), using the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model to examine the relationship between the study variables in both the short and long run. Renewable energy consumption was used as the main independent variable, along with a set of control variables represented by trade openness, inflation, and carbon dioxide emissions. The results revealed a positive relationship between renewable energy and economic growth, as well as an inverse relationship between renewable energy consumption and unemployment. However, these effects were not statistically significant during the study period. The long-run results also showed that the impact of renewable energy remained limited, reflecting the weak contribution of this sector to the Algerian economy compared to the hydrocarbon sector. The findings also confirmed the existence of a long-run equilibrium relationship among the study variables, in addition to the significant effect of some control variables, particularly inflation. Overall, the study concluded that despite the progress achieved in the renewable energy sector in Algeria during recent years, this sector still requires greater investments and supportive policies in order to strengthen its contribution to sustainable development.
